Mainstream movies. Recently renovated, the Chinese features
grandiose, asian-inspired architecture paired with the
latest in sound and picture technologies. Premieres are
often held here, and visitors can also take in the famous
handprints and signatures of Hollywood's greatest in the
concrete out front.

Laemmle's Sunset 5

Popular and niche indie flicks. Nestled in a small shopping
plaza at the corner of Crescent Heights and Sunset, the
Sunset 5 is a great place to take in the latest indie
movies. Grab a bite to eat at Wolfgang Puck's or shop the
Virgin Megastore before or after the show, and look for
celebrities working out at the famous Crunch gym.

Westwood Majestic Crest

Mainstream movies, large single-theatre venue. Built in
1941, the Crest has changed ownership several times
throughout the years, but its current owner is dedicated to
maintaining its landmark status and even spends several
